October CAS Mix Up Reminder

It is the 15th October already so it is time to remind you that there is still plenty of time to join in with the October CAS Mix Up Challenge. This month we are using stencils, Viv is our host and the prompt is tone on tone.

First I created a stencil with a Fuzzy Lemon die, then I inked a piece of white Bristol Board with distress ink making the coverage as even as I could. Then I inked over the stencil with a darker distress ink. The edges of the panel were inked in a darker shade and mounted it onto paper that toned well with it. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold and mounted it all on a yellow coated base card (adorable scorable). I also used the stencil to decorate an insert and the envelope.

I finished it off with a few enamel dots in the centre of the flowers.

I hope I might have helped inspire you to take part this month and shall look forward to seeing your entry in the gallery.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

 xx
