December CCC Reveal

Hello, 
Today is the 2nd of January so time for the December Card Chain Challenge  reveal post. I think Gail and Jo are glutens for punishment because they added an extra challenge for December last year. Obviously everyone that entered is too! I jest, because it is not punishment to enter this amazing challenge but organising it all just could be.


The design option this month involved a tic tac toe and I chose the diagonal line from top left - bees, friendship and emboss it.

My card went to the lovely Gundi in Germany (I just adore her cards).


I have used the Birch Press string art frame cover plate for this card, cutting it once in green card and once in black craft foam. It is mounted on a cream cardbase. The bee is by Chocolate Baroque and was stamped in black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I used gel sparkle pens on the body and wings. I also stamped the bee on the envelope and heat embossed it in white on the insert.


I am quite pleased with this one, I hope you like it too.


Here is the lovely happy and cheery card that I received from Jo in England. Isn't it gorgeous? the shadow on the sentiment is all glittery and sparkly which just adds to the cheery nature of it.


I am looking forward to another year of sending cards round the world and receiving them too.

    Wow, that’s a spectacular die cut - I hope you made something with all the little “kites” it generated! Lovely card Hilary. Happy New Year to you and yours, let’s hope 2021 is a bit kinder to us all.

    What a gorgeous design using that beautiful string art die cut Hilary - the bee is stunning front and center and even more dimension added with your die cut hello!     your card is so beautiful. I like the big die and the bee in the centre.
    I can imagine that you was satisfied with it.

    2 fabulous cards, Hilary! Can't imagine attaching that cardstock die cut to the one cut from fun foam, but it sure looks great! I need to use my glitter gel markers that still work as I do love them--perfect for the bee!

    Hi Hilary thank you for the lovely comment and thankfully I am feeling so much better fingers crossed.TBH is wasnt a difficult decision to sell as when I felt really ill and thought about all the stash I had it just made no sense!Gorgeous card and fabulous die-cut background,love the CB Bee
