Christmas Kickstarter #53 Reminder

Today I have a reminder post for the current Christmas Kickstarter challenge where I am honoured to be guest elf this month.

I have made a second card, inspired by the amazing inspirational photo (see below). Nothing fussy here, just a simple bauble highlighted with some sparkle.

I have wanted to use this stamp set as it is quite new and I haven't used it before. I really like these bubble baubles, the set contains 3 of different shapes. I decided to heat emboss the image and used gold pearl powder. I then coloured in the bubbles with a metallic pen. The bow and sentiment are also part of the same set. The bow was heat embossed in poppy red and the sentiment in hot gossip which is a sparkle powder. I added a few little spots of the sparkle powder on the bauble and bow just to spread the sparkle around a bit. You can see it a little bit on my final photo.

The panel was cut and mounted on craft foam before attaching to a gold card base. It looks like kraft in the photo but it is actually gold.

I was inspired by the baubles on the tree and the red ribbons above the mantelpiece.

I have been really enjoying visiting all the entries this month. There is still plenty of time to join us as you have until the end of the month. I hope to see you in the gallery.
