A Handcoloured Image

Todays card was made a while ago and I have been waiting for an appropriate time to share it:


The stamp is called charmed wildflowers by The Ton. I stamped it in a pale ink and then coloured it with Polychromos. I decorated the envelop and insert with the small flower that is part of the stamp set. you can see the envelop in the picture above.


I don't consider myself to be very good at colouring but I hope to improve with practice. I did quite like the soft look that the pencils gave the image. This one was sent to Jenny of My paper Epiphany for her birthday.

    I think your colouring is beautiful. Of course there are people who are better in colouring, but who cares!! You did it with pleasure, that's the most inmportant thing...I'm practizing too. And exercise breeds art......

Absolutely fabulous colouring and love the beautiful flowers.Thank you for your comment about the DTs I kept them all on because I was home all day as hubby has atzheimers and dementia so they kept me busy and sane but as he is now getting worse and sleep is haphazard it's just too much something has to give!
