Just a quick post today to share this card:
I stamped the tulip outline with a stamp made from the die with craft foam. That was masked and the stencil background was created with 2 different stencils. The other elements of the tulip were die cut from a smooched piece of watercolour paper. The sentiment was cut from the same piece. The panel was mounted on a piece of really sparkly silver paper and then onto the base card. Sorry my picture doesn't show the sparkle.
I am sharing it at:

ReplyDeleteHi Hilary,
ReplyDeleteit's a very nice background and I'm fond of tulips (was born between de bulbs ;-)) and this one is so beautiful. The sparkle will be wonderful in real.

What a great card Hilary! x
ReplyDeleteOh my Hilary how innovative to create the stamp in that way, it's made a super Spring card and I can imagine the sparkle from the silver mat.

It's looking like you've had a Spring make-over on your blog, Hilary! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteA very lovely, and fun card - innovative, too. We forget stamps were first made with all sorts of materials - including foam. I remember stamping with a potato in elementary school!
Hello Spring! tulips are my favorite of all!
