August Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Today is 2nd of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge big reveal. This month 26 card makers took part and I sent my card to Jo in UK.

This month I used the colours and the options of lace and friendship.

My card base is stone coloured matt card and my pewter and tan are metallic card. The lace die is by Sizzix (Tim Holtz 664181) and the hello die and sentiment is by Spellbinders (a little hello sentiments designed by Lisa Horton).

I made a stencil with the die to decorate the insert and the envelope. You can just see them in the first photo. The picture below shows the shiny metallic cardstock.

I was very lucky to receive this gorgeous card from Linda in Michigan. Thanks Linda.

If you would like to take part in the next card chain challenge, you have until 6th to sign up here

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Beautifully done Hilary, the delicate lacy die cut looks fabulous — great contrast with the bolder sentiment style. Hope you’re coping OK with your injury.

Hi Hilary,
You've made a wonderful card! I think it was ready before you did broke your wrist? Or is it possible to craft with the plaster??
I hope you're painfree...and that it will recover without complications!
The card you've received is very special!

Wow! I saw the photo in the reveal post, but now that I see it's actually metallic. That elevates it to awesomeness.

Lovely take on the theme Hilary, the colour palette was a toughie but you carried it off beautifully.

Hi Hilary, I've finally grabbed a coffee and a little sit down to visit my CCC buddies. Thank you so much for this gorgeous card. It just looks so shiny and lovely. I used the same die for my card to Jaonne. Did you send me the die cut? I've kept it safe for so long and knew THIS was the time to use it. Thanks of you did. Thanks for being a link in our chain again too. Jo x
