We Love Stamping November Reminder

Today is the 18th so time for a reminder for the current challenge over at We Love Stamping. The challenge where we love to see you using your stamps.

Our theme this month is:
**Christmas**
OR
Anything Goes

These are my favourite Christmas trees. They are a stamp by Chocolate Baroque called Christmas tree tangle, which I have had for several years. I decided to keep this one simple and let those trees shine. They were stamped onto glossy black cardstock with versamark and heat embossed in white. I decided to add interest by using a circle so simply matted onto white and then black and then onto a square white 5.5inch card. Before doing that I cut a mask for the trees and splattered the background with a white paint pen. It kind of worked, but the splatters are small. Not sure if that matters.

The sentiment by Uniko is stamped in black and clear heat embossed. I also stamped the trees in black on the envelope and white insert and used a little white pigment ink under the trees.

Don't forget there is always a prize to be won and This month there are three prizes of Sweet Dixie Christmas die sets from Aldridge Crafts. Why don't you head over to the challenge blog to check it out? The prize winner is selected randomly and in addition the DT will choose a top three for special mention.

I hope I have inspired you to join us this month, all you have to do is ensure that stamping (including digi) is featured somewhere your card. It would be great if you could join in with our theme, but anythings goes is always an option if you are out of ideas. The challenge will close at noon (UK time) on Wednesday 4th December.

I am looking forward to seeing you in the gallery.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

  12. This is really gorgeous Hilary, very stylish. When I stamp in versamark and then do the white embossing powder I usually find that it hasn't stamped properly and then it is back to the drawing board. 🤣 Well done.
