Just popping in quickly to share this card:
I recently found this die at half price, so of course I couldn't resist.
I am sharing it at:
CAS Christmas - Plaid. I think I might be pushing the CAS criteria with this one. One minute I think it is OK and the next I think it is not!

Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge - Anything goes
I have had two trips away recently, first with my husband to east Sussex, we enjoyed some trips to the south coast. I just love being beside the sea and the south coast is very different from the Suffolk coast where I live. My second trip was with my 2 sisters and sister in law. We take it in turns to organise a few days away each year as a way of keeping in touch. It was my turn this year and we went to Cambridge. I did my nurse training at Addenbrooks Hospital many many years ago and memories came flooding back when we passed the old hospital in Trumpington Road, it is a business school now. It was glorious and I really enjoyed it, but I also found it very stressful and am pleased to be back home and spending time in my favourite place. I am slowly catching up with things.
Wishing you a very happy weekend.

Stunning card, I love this die too, I have just borrowed it from a crafty friend.
So glad to hear about your trips, they are very special during these times.
Crafty hugs xx
What a fabulous background die cut Hilary and what cute little plaid deer's and such a fun way to incorporate the plaid x. I visited Cambridge many years ago and loved it x.
That was a lucky find you have Hilary! And adding those three plaid deer and the sentiment in the same plaid is brilliant. It looks like the deer are in a forest of white trees! I love it! Thank you for sharing this with us at CAS Christmas!
What a cool background die, Hilary! LOVE the dark blue and black plaid ... so beautiful.
So nice that you could get away for a bit. I'm still waiting to do that here. Organizing a group of people for a retreat can be quite a bit of work, and as host, you always want it to be perfect, which is almost impossible, which leads to stress. Glad you are home and back in your comfort zone but bet you'll look back and think of your gathering with the girls with fond memories. xx
LOL Hilary - you're so funny agonizing over the CAS! Plenty of white space behind the little houses and trees and what could be simpler than a nice cover plate?! I adore your sweet plaid elements too - fun card!!
oh my word, those plaid deer are so fabulous ... we're so glad you went dashing through the snow with us at Jingle Belles.
Such striking card with that unusual diecut panel and the plaid reindeer!! Really impressive and quick to make, you have had a brilliant idea!
Stunning! I love the background die cut in white and the look of those plaid die cuts on top! Fantastic design, Hilary!!
This is a clever idea to punch the deer out of a plaid pattern.
Beautiful card and die-love the plaid reindeer and sentiment

Hilary, I love LOVE your card! It's a fabulous background die for a not-to-be-resisted price, and the plaid reindeer are super cute. They fit the background perfectly. I think your trips away sound wonderful (especially since we haven't been anywhere for a while), but there truly is no place like home. Welcome back!
Love that die cut and your sweet plaid deer! It's mostly white so I'd definitely call it white - the cut outs just trick your eye to think its filled up!! Sounds like you had some lovely trips - but it is always good to be home again - especially these days..... thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas Hilary! xx
This die was a super find, Hilary, and looks perfect with the plaid reindeer! It's always good to get back home!
What an eye-catching, thoroughly terrific holiday season greeting, Hilary. I love the plaid deer and that they're reminding me to die cut from patterned paper, not just solid paper and CS, more often. Thank you very much for that welcome reminder.
And a huge, immensely heartfelt thanks as well for your recent blog comments. It is a joy to connect with you (and your awesome blog) online.
Many hugs & the happiest of wishes for the tail end of September,
