Today is a very special day as it heralds the first post for our new rebranded challenge We Love Stamping. Our new name reflects what the challenge is all about. As a team of dedicated stampers we are really excited to be going forward with you all and sharing creations made with any make of stamp.
This month out theme is:
*** Christmas ***
Well what else could it be?
I used some sparkly metallic thread to 'hang' my baubles and made little bows that I attached separately. The sentiment was heat embossed with a glitter embossing powder. To finish it off I blended some darker green round the edges, trimmed the panel and added a strip of green mirri card to the edge.
When the lights come on the card really shines.
I hope you will support our new challenge, all you have to do is follow the prompt and ensure stamping is the main focus on your card. Each month a guest designer will be selected from all entries in addition to a top 3. I am also happy to say that there are some fabulous prizes prizes to be won. The challenge will close on the 1st December.
I am also sharing this at:
Addicted to Stamps and More - Christmas
Supplies:
Cardstock: White stamping card; Hobbycraft green foil paper
Ink: Distress ink; Gelli Roll sparkle pens; Pentel Slicci metalic pens
Stamps: Woodware, bubble mini baubles
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Congrats on the new challenge Hilary! I will check it out! :) LOVE your beautiful baubles card. I can imagine all the shimmer and shine from the pretty baubles and the strip of mirror paper. Gorgeous design, my friend! xx
Oooohh, what a beauty, Hilary. This card embodies chic, elegant Christmastime beauty and has the loveliest hint of mid-century vintage to it that makes me (a perpetual vintage fan) adore it all the more.

Absolutely gorgeous Hilary and a labour of love no doubt! The pine leaves look amazing against your pretty bauble and I know just how you feel not being able to share the sparkle...
I bet this is just amazing in real life, it looks rather wonderful on your blog.
It's so hard to capture sparkle and shine in a photo, Hilary! But you captured the awesome ornaments beautifully! I'll have to check out this new challenge!
Hilary, fabulous baubles. Love the stamping and your masking is perfect. I'll check out the newly rebranded challenge.
You make some pretty amazing cards, Hilary, and this is one of them. Your evergreen boughs are beautiful on the blended background, which somehow appears to be gold metallic paper, but I know it's not. I can just imagine all the shine on this. I'm curious as to what this challenge was called before. Lavinia?
Wow! Such amazing work of love with these baubles, Hilary! Love so much the stamps you used and the way you coloured them! I can image the sparkling and shining in real life!! Great idea hanging them with the sparkling thread and the little bows are cute details!
Sorry if I'm late, but my life is chaotic and difficult at this moment!
A very beautiful work. I' m your new follower. May you follow me back?
Thanks and have a nice day!
Hi Hilary, a stunning Christmas card love the baubles. You visited my blog and asked if the sentiment is the only stamp, on the card I entered the Holly is stamped and paper pieced, not sure if this still meets the challenge requirements, I'm okay either way. Have a wonderful week... Megan
