Today is the 18th so time for a reminder for the current challenge over at We Love Stamping. The challenge where we love to see you using your stamps.
Lynn has chosen our theme this month:
**Welcome Spring**
OR
**Anything Goes**
I chose to use this stamp as the flowers look very spring like. I think they are pansies, which will often flower virtually all the time if you are lucky. The stamp is by Jeje Product and was a gift. I was not familiar with the brand so I have included a link to their website for info. It is a really pretty stamp and it stamped beautifully first time.
The trouble with open stamps like this is knowing what colours to use, so to save time and hassle, I just followed the illustration on the packaging and used my polychromos coloured pencils to colour it. I really enjoyed doing it and am very pleased with how it turned out. The hello sunshine sentiment is from the spring botanicals tulip stamp set by Uniko. I have used Concord & 9th double stripe card front die for the background.
Don't forget there is always a prize to be won and this month there are two Spring themed Penny Black stamp sets from Buddly Crafts. Why don't you head over to the challenge blog to check it out? The prize winner is selected randomly and in addition the DT will choose a top three for special mention.
I hope I have inspired you to join us this month, all you have to do is ensure that stamping (including digi) is featured somewhere your card. It would be great if you could join in with our theme, but anythings goes is always an option if you are out of ideas. The challenge will close at noon (UK time) on Wednesday 2nd April.
I am looking forward to seeing you in the gallery.

A lovely fresh Spring card Hilary and agree, colouring does reflect Pansies or could be Viola with different colours.
Many thanks for sharing at Stamping Sensations, perfect for our theme there as well.

I adore your Pansies, Hilary! You've colored them so beautifully! Yes, I have often seen them blooming in pots covered with snow in the Spring!

Beautiful card and image x
You did the same as I like to do. Especially with new stamps: The first time coloring like the example! And yes it turned out marvelous in your case!
Gorgeous stamp Hilary and beautifully coloured, it sits perfectly on the detailed white background xx
Oh, my goodness, this is a beautiful stamp! I think Pansies, Violas, Violets, and Johnny Jump Ups are all in the Viola family, so you can call them whatever you want and they still come out pretty! There are so many color variations you can't go wrong. You colored them beautifully with your pencils. I'm enchanted, Hilary!
Beautiful card Hilary, the flowers are lovely. I planted some pansies in the garden today, hopefully they will last right through the summer.
