3 Special Birthdays

Today is June 27th and I am wishing 3 special people a very happy birthday. Starting with the wonderful Loll of stamping with Loll, she shares it with another well known card maker and my eldest daughter, so I am unlikely to forget it. The members of the CAS Mix Up DT decided that it would make her birthday extra special if we all posted the cards that we sent her. If you would like to visit the other posts just pop along to the CAS Mix Up blog and follow the links for the DT. Loll is, of course, the reason why the challenge exists, she is very dedicated to keeping both Mix Up and CAS Christmas going. It has been a challenging year, so she deserves a big shout out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOLL

I have used stencilling, die cutting and stamping on this card.

The sentiment inside the card reads on your birthday.

I really hope my card arrived in time, I expect she received a very large number of cards. I do hope so anyway.

Enjoy your birthday Loll and thank you for everything you do.

The second birthday wishes are for my daughter:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEISA

I did add a Happy Birthday sentiment banner to the lower front, but I took the pictures before I added it, not sure what happened. The background is one I did with my 5x7 gel plate during a session a few weeks ago. I still have a few cards left to share from that session.

And finally, all good things have to come in three's, it is also Brenda's birthday. You will all know her from her blog Floral Fantasies and the three challenges she runs at AllsortsStamping Sensations, and We Love Stamping.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENDA

I sent her this card:

Another gel print using oxides.

I do have to admit to a bit of a blunder here. I had quite a busy week last week and only just managed to get my daughters card in the post with a realistic amount of time for it to reach her, but I forgot to do Brenda's card at the same time. It was a day later when I remembered and so I fear that Brenda's card will not have reached her in time. So sorry Brenda, I like to think that I am well organised, but I think I should admit that I am not!

I hope that everyone enjoying a birthday today, 27th June, has a fabulous day.

Well, I'm in good company celebrating my birthday today! :) Thank you for the beautiful card (it arrived well before my birthday), along with the fun stencil that I will have fun playing with. You are so generous, my friend! And thank you for helping me, Leisa, and Brenda to celebrate our birthdays today. Love you, Loll

Fab cards Hilary.
Lolly will love the bright flowers on top of that perfectly stencilled background.
Your card for your daughter has a wonderful background and the addition of the gold makes it pop - I really must buy a gelli plate!

Three beauties, Hilary! Just love your gelli plate designs but my fave is the one you sent Loll - that rounded rectangle looks like a fancy tile or piece of jewelry!!

Three beautiful birthday cards, Hilary, very elegant! Love the one for Lol and that for Brenda and especially like the one for your daughter with that wonderful tree. I was very organized years ago, but by some times I'm no more able. Too much things to do and no spare time (and I'm sad for it).
Hugs

Three really nice eye-catchers!! You have chosen beautiful colors and I am sure that every birthday child will love their card very much.
I worked with the Gelli Plate for the first time this week and I really enjoyed it. The first maps have already been created, I will show them soon.
