December We Love Stamping Challenge

Today is the first Sunday of the month so time for a new challenge over at We Love Stamping. Where we love to see you showcase your stamping.

Our theme this month is:

**Winter**
OR
**Anything Goes**

I would like to welcome our guest designer Denise. I hope you get a chance to visit her.

I decided to use this stamp by Uniko to create my wintry scene. I started by stamping it in Catherine Pooler deck the halls ink onto hot pressed watercolour paper, which I then clear heat embossed.

My sky is made with Brusho paints, it is such a long time since I have had them out. Once the paint was dry, I splattered the sky with a white paint pen and once that was dry, I sprayed it with some silvery cosmic shimmer. Sorry the photos don't show the shine. I carefully whipped off the splatter and shimmer from the heat embossing and then cut my panel along the wavy line and mounted it onto a white diecut panel that I had stamped and heat embossed with the let it snow repeating sentiment. I had to make this panel twice as I completely messed up the heat embossing first time. You can see the card I made with the messed up panel on the post below this one.

This panel was then matted onto a white panel that I had inked the edges of, and then mounted onto a white cardbase. I was quite pleased with my sky. I hope you like it too.

Don't forget there is always a prize to be won and this month there are 3 prizes of stamp sets from AALL and Create. Why don't you head over to the challenge blog to check it out? The prize winner is selected randomly and in addition the DT will choose a top three for special mention.

I hope I have inspired you to join us this month, all you have to do is ensure stamping (including digi) is seen somewhere on your card front, it no longer needs to be the main focus. Please also mention the products used. It would be great if you could join in with our theme, but anythings goes is always an option if you are out of ideas. The challenge will close at noon (UK time) on Wednesday 31st December.

I am looking forward to seeing you in the gallery.

I am also sharing this at:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

I wondered if you had used Brosho's, they created lovely depth of colour for your backdrop. And perfect for our Allsorts Winter Flowers and Fauna theme, thank you for sharing.

This looks stunning, Hilary! The sky that you've created using the Brushos is just so grand, nothing else is needed. I'll bet the shimmer just makes it extra fabulous! Awesome creation, Hilary!
