Green, orange and blue

Hello,

Today I am sharing this card on the Rubber Dance February challenge as I realised my colours matched the theme pretty well. Here is my card:

This is a new stamp and I was practicing with different coloured inks. It is the first time I have used a negative space stamp and found it worked well if I ink up the stamp with different colours. I really liked the effect of using bright bold complimentary colours together so I made a set (well 2 actually) as you can see below. I intend to make a box for them and give away as a set of note cards.

I am new to Rubber Dance Art Stamps so I don't own any yet, but they are definitely now on my wish list.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Die cut tree

Hello,
Today I am sharing my card on Addicted to CAS challenge 129, code word TEAL and CAS on Friday #126 Dies:

The die cut tree (from Fuzzy Lemon) is inlaid into the white card which is propped up from the background with foam. The background is alcohol ink on yupo paper. I decided not to use a sentiment and added the butterfly instead. Here is a close up showing the background:

Spring

Hello,
Today I made a card to share at Inspired by all the little things #79. I saw the inspiration photo and realised I had a bicycle stamp that I had never used so I made this simple card:

With Love

Hello,
Today I am sharing a card I have made for the current challenge at Freshly made sketches 321. I made the embellishments on this card by layering pigment ink and clear embossing powder on the die cuts. I love the glossy effect that this technique creates but it can be messy and fiddly. The backing layer was made with alcohol ink on yupo paper.
Here is the card:

And a close up so you can see the shine:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it and if you can also take the time to leave me a comment it would be even better. I know how hard that can be though so don't worry if you don't.

Thank you

Hexagons

Hello,
Today I have made a card for Case this sketch #256, something made me want to enter this challenge but I had no idea what to do for it. Eventually I found a load of hexagons that I had previously made, I knew they would come in handy one day! I am also sharing it at Addicted to stamps and more.
Here is my card:

The ink used is pearlescent so it has a lovely shine which you can see on this photo:
