Today I am sharing my card at CAS mix it up challenge blog, the theme is faux stained glass + stamping + your choice. Here is my card:
The die used for central 'flower' or 'window' as this is stained glass, is from creative expressions. I taped it together with the frame die (Nellie Snellen) to ensure that the window was in the correct position, and die cut it 4 times. I also cut the square from my base card panel and my coloured panel. I made the panel some time ago using brusho powder paints. The panel also had some Brusho SprinkleIT on it but that doesn't show in any of my pictures. 3 of the die cuts were then glued together and glued onto the brusho base. once this was done I filled all the holes with Nuvo Crystal glaze, taking care to fill all the corners, because my spaces are quite small it was a bit of a fiddle. Once dry I glued the 4th die cut into place, fixed it in position on the card, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
I really like this technique, I posted a card using it last year which you can see here.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Beautifully done Hillary.
Gorgeous, Hillary! Love the colours of your background. What a beautiful die for this technique. Yes, fiddly filling in all those small openings, but so worth the effort. Your card is STUNNING! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
Beautiful card, Cathy x
Wow, that's amazing, it's look like a window in a church.
I love all the colors in your stained glass design, Hilary! This is a great die to show all the colors beautifully and you've done a fantastic job of getting the glaze in all those little spaces! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
Beautiful card Hilary, love the finished effect and lovely colours of your stained glass xx
Gorgeous colors and shine, Hilary! I love the brusho colors you chose and I'm so impressed that you filled Crystal Glaze into all the corners of this intricate die-cut. It goes to show that excellence is in details. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty at CAS Mix Up!
