A card for a child

Hello,
Today's card is for a child and I am sharing it at A Place to Start as that is what their challenge is this month.

This card is 7x5 inches and made with a sheet of 12x12 patterned paper from a block that I got from The Works some time ago. I cut the frame and then fussy cut a rocket that I coloured. The background is from a water coloured panel that I had in my stash.

The number is stamped, heat embossed in white and fussy cut.
Generally I am not very keen on making cards for children and don't share them very often, but I was pleased with how this one turned out so I decided to share it at A Place to Start September Challenge - create a children's card.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.
xx

Hi Hilary,
the card is super! Love the background, white and black and de colourful image. The big number is beautiful. I think the little boy (is it for a boy?) will like it a lot!
