October CAS Mix Up Challenge

Hello,
Today is the 1st October so I am back with some inspiration for this months CAS Mix Up Challenge . This month it is a stencil challenge, our host is the lovely Viv and the prompt today is Tone on Tone.

We have the wonderful Pat as our guest designer so I hope you head over there to take a look at the inspiration.
Don't forget there are some videos links on the blog in addition to the design team inspiration cards so do pay a visit.

I used a Concorde & 9th turnabout stencil and distress ink on Bristol Board to create my oval panel. I inked the whole panel with twisted citron to get the pale green background and then inked the stencil using a different green shade for each turn. The panel was then cut with an oval stitched die and mounted on green craft foam.

The flower and leaves were made in the same way. I cut them from the Bristol board and then inked them. The flower is held together with an eyelet.

The sentiment is also a die-cut.  My base card is adorable scorable coated card.
I also decorated the envelope and an insert that you can see below.

I enjoyed making this card, once I had decided which stencil to use, it came together quite well. Do head over to the blog to see all the inspiration, you won't be disappointed. I hope you will join us this month.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

I love the look of this turnabout stencil Hilary in the pretty green tones and the coordinating colours for the flower and leaves are beautiful over the top and love the background card in that soft green colour too. It has been great to be GD this time and I have enjoyed this tone on tone theme enormously. x

Love the mix of greens, Hilary. Hopefully, I'll manage to participate this month. I always intend to play but the weeks seem to fly by before I can actually sit down and create a card.
