Silhouettes

Today I actually have two cards for this months Twofer Challenge #32, the prompt this month is silhouettes and I couldn't resist taking time to make a couple of cards, everyone loves silhouettes, don't they?

I honestly can't remember where I got this stamp from and have no note about it either, but I really like it's delicate lines.

This one is a simple masked square with ink blending and the image stamped in black versafine. It is a sympathy card.

This one started with a blended background then the image was repeat stamped across the front. I repeat stamped and heat embossed the Happy over the stems and die cut the birthday 3 times and stacked it. It is finished off with a green enamel dot on the i. The panel on this one is actually mounted on some yellow craft foam but I am afraid you can't really see that in the photos.

I hope you like them.

I am also sharing my second card at:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

A twofer success. These silhouette cards are very different. I love the simplicity of the first with the colourful masked square. The second with the white happy border is such a nice approach too. Great cards xx

Hilary, no matter where, or when, this sweet little stamp was meant to find its way to you! Two fabulous cards! I love the single branch, and all its CAS-ness - but you've found a way to make a wonderful little 'grove' of them, too!

You did a remarkable job of making this simple, yet striking, silhouette stem take center stage, Hilary! I love the block of pretty blended colors you created for the background on your sympathy card and how you repeatedly stamped the stems on your birthday card. The autumn coloring is fabulous! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Keep safe and well! Hugs, Darnell

Love these little silhouette flowers, Hilary! They are so sweet with the small ink blended square for a sympathy card! Love the boldness of the second card and the black base makes it extra stunning!

You chose a very nice silhouette stamp and I really like the design of both cards. Great effect on the second card with the white embossing.
