Today I am joining Mia who is hosting the Friendly Challenge #154 where the theme is hearts. I made this card for my eldest granddaughters 10th birthday and am sharing it here as it is full of hearts, so I thought it fitted the theme perfectly.
I made the shaker element by cutting the balloon frame several times and stacking them. the little white hearts were stamped and heat embossed on pink card to form the back of the shaker which is filled with sequins and little tiny hearts.
I finished things off with a little piece of gold string around the balloon. In retrospect I wish I hadn't cut the heart flower stalks so short, but never mind.
So sorry about my fuzzy pictures, I am really not sure what has happened to my photos recently!

Yes, it is full of hearts and so adorable! I love how you always pull every little detail together. What a cute idea to make a shaker from the balloon. You even have heart stalks to represent the balloon string, and the #10 which appears enameled. I could go on and on. Your granddaughter must feel very loved. I don't know what goes on with the pictures sometimes. I'm so often disappointed in my own lately.

Sweetness indeed!! Absolutely adorable shaker card, love that gold balloon filled with heart sequins and its hearted background! The tiny bunch of heart flowers looks great as it is, for me! Isn't too short! The pinpoint panel with the hearts is adorable too! A fresh, cute card for your granddaughter, she surely loved it!

This is great for a ten year old (young..) A shaker card is always a surprise for the receiver, I'm sure.
