June Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Today is 2nd of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge big reveal. This month 34 card makers took part and I sent my card to Jo in the UK. If you are looking for my We Love Stamping DT card, please scroll down.

I loosely used the colours of raspberry, rose and cream, and also the theme of friendship and the product, lace, although my lace is actually a die cut which was cut from an acrylic paint gel print.

The lace panel was attached to some cream card and the hello friend was cut from the same card. the shadow for the friend was cut from another gel print using the mauve from the lace. I used the remainder of that print to cut another lace panel for the insert.

As it is all quite busy I finished it off with just 3 enamel dots.

I was very lucky to receive this gorgeous card from Linda in Minnesota. Thanks Linda.

If you would like to take part in the next card chain challenge, you have until 6th to sign up here

Supplies:
Cardstock: Gina K Heavy weight ivory
Dies: Sizzix Thinlets 664181; Tonic Studios Stamp Club 11

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Wow! Your lace panel cutout from a gel session looks so ethnic, it remember me the African woman's dresses and it's just amazing! Love the big sentiment and the enamel dots added! Well done!

Wow Hilary! I was wondering how you got all that color onto your die cut - what a great acrylic paint gel print! The big Hello is perfect over all the small detail of the background! Julia xx

Cutting your die from a gel print was brilliant. It gives such a nice variety of colors to the card. Linda sent you a lovely card, too. Love these colors this month.

Lovely use of the gel print (did you save some of the cut out bits to use in something else?!), great take on the theme Hilary!
