Today I have a card to share that I made with the Concorde & 9th turnabout dahlia stamp. I do love turnabout stamps and have had them out recently to practice because I do struggle to get them properly lined up. Anyway, you can probably expect some more turnabout examples from me in the next few weeks.
As you can see I have also used the coordinating die and as always when I use these stamps, it is almost lined up exactly, but not quite. I have decided that I am not beating myself up about it and am sharing it anyway because despite that I think it is a good card. I really like the colours, when I say that it generally means that they are Catherine Pooler colours. I originally stamped the fourth colour in Something Borrowed but then decided to use the coordinating die and cut out the blue, replacing it with the blue mirror card. I am pleased with the effect.
Here is a close up:

Hilary, I’ve just returned from vacation and this morning I scrolled through your posts while I was away.
That dalia is stunning on the shiny card. What a fabulous way to use both the stamp and die.
Your mandela stencil cards are magical. That white really pops showing the beauty of the stencil. I’m going to have to vote for the dalia…yellows are my favorite color.
I have yet to open my alcohol pearls…but then I’ve been busy with getting ready for our little trip to visit the inlaws. Your panel is gorgeous and I love the diecut you used on it.
Your twofer is FANTAStic…I hope to get mine done today. So many challenges…I hope to have enough time to catch up.
I've never come across these stamps before but how very effective and great choice of colours as they all compliment one another. I don't know about trouble lining them up but this looks spot on to me but I do now what you mean, my biggest problems is unmounted sentiments, I spend ages trying to line them up and they are still crooked and you have no idea how many cards end up in the bin - can't beat a good old wood mounted sentiment.
Lovely to see you at Stamping Sensations again, thanks so much for joining in.

Gorgeous turn about flower design, Hilary. I love your pretty and shiny blue mirror paper too. TFS and joining us at STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge. Hugs..Nancy
What a gorgeous burst of colour, which the blue mirror card sets off beautifully! I love the C&9th turnabout stamps and have a few of them, but I still have trouble lining them up. I need more practice! Yours looks perfect, though! Thank you for sharing it with us at Stamping Sensations.

The blue mirror card is perfect for your card - a pop of color and some shine. The colors are so "happy". Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations CAS.
