No Stamping

Today I am sharing  a card (or 3) I made from a recently purchased layering stencil.

This layering stencil is by Studio Light and it is a cosmos flower. I used my Catherine Pooler inks and masked the flower so I could add a little ink to the background.

I used oval dies for the panel and finished it off with a die cut sentiment and a few sequins - very easy.

So easy that I made 2 more in different colours.

Which is your favourite?
I am sharing the purple one (because it is my favourite) at the following challenges:
Sparkles #165 - no stamping allowed
Through the purple haze #205 - Use buttons and/or flowers
Beautiful Blossoms #6 - mood board, my second entry this month
Try it on Tuesday - summer blooms
NBUS #51 - my second entry this month

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

What super cards you have made with your stencils a dinks. My favourite is the purple too, though they are all pretty in their own right. They look nice framed in the oval.xx

Beautiful cards, Hilary. Difficult to pick a favourite, but I think the purple one is the winner. xx

Fabulous! I like the way the stencil adds the colors making the flower. The cards are all beautiful, but I am a bit partial to the orange one myself. :)

It looks stunning in all three colors.

These are stunning, but like you I am a purple fan so love the first one. I sat down to use a new three part stencil yesterday, only to find two of the stencils were the same! - They are sending a new one.

Hilary, I spent the day with Marcia yesterday and we had another session of 'back to back' stenciling! I really love my CP inks for stenciling - you've shown today that they are the perfect choice!
LOve your color combinations and card design - worth repeating, that's for sure! The pinks are calling my name today!

Oh my!!! Such wonderful layered stencil you used! My favourite is the purple too!! Absolutely amazing and the pale yellow on the background makes the flowers just POP!! Also the other two cards are beautiful, but the purple one really catches my eyes, I can't stop to look at it! :D

I do love the purple. That one might be my favorite, too, but they're all gorgeous. There are so many wonderful products to choose from these days. Stencils have become very sophisticated and beautiful cards emerge.
