Hello
As this is the last month for the old format of the CAS challenges, I decided that I must make an effort to share a card in all 3. My last one to enter today is CAS Watercolour where the prompt is night sky. Another reason for entering is that I have done a water colouring class on Skillshare that had an exercise to paint a galaxy. I often skip the exercises in classes but this challenge gave me a good reason not to.I have found myself feeling very distracted recently, my mind seems to be in lots of places at once so I struggle to concentrate and focus on one thing. It means I keep making stupid mistakes, so taking the time to focus on one activity has helped (a little).
My galaxy is an A4 sheet and so far I have made 3 cards from it:
1.
2.
This one has a coating of clear shimmer on it as does the one below.
I am sharing this at:
HLS Anything Goes with Dies May challenge.
Stamplorations May CAS Challenge
3.
I have always been intimidated by enamel dots, sequins etc as I could never work out how to place them, but I think I might get a bit bolder now after watching Cathy Zielske on You Tube, she gives some very clear tips in one of her 10 minute design chats. I was so enthused that I had a go with this card. Has it worked?
I am sharing this one at:

Finally this little succulent is rooting happily in a glass vase and looking rather pretty, so I thought I would share the image with you. I hope it makes you smile.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, I really appreciate it.

Those are all amazing skies, Hilary. Fabulous cards.
Beautiful colors in your galaxy/nightsky backgrounds, Hilary! And three gorgeous cards! Love the black silhouette die cuts and the white birthday die cut gives a completely different look! Great job! And I love your succulent! such pretty shades of pink in it.
Very cool technique Hilary, loving the colours which go fabulously with those silhouettes... hugs and stay safe Robyn
I love your watercolour background - perfect for that lovely die cut in your second card. What a great masculine card!
your watercoloured galaxy night sky's are beautiful, isn't it great making 3 cards out of 1 sheet :)
I just love all of your cards and the gorgeous backgrounds you created! Wowza! Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players.
Three beautiful galaxy cards Hilary! You've really mastered making gorgeous skies from your class. Always good to try to concentrate on something so your mind doesn't wander. I have that a lot too! :) All three cards are so lovely. Great designs and layouts. And definitely, your enamel dots are placed perfectly on your HB card. And thanks for sharing your rooting of your sweet succulent ... it did make me smile! :) xx
One idea and you make several cards out of it each time. Great and super great design.
Gorgeous galaxy night skies! I think I must have watched the same class on skillshare:) Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour.
Your galaxy background is beautiful. I'm glad you are fining ways to cope with the difficult situation at the moment. Thank you for playing along with the STAMPlorations CAS Challenge. We hope to see you back again soon! Karola, DT, InvisiblePinkCards
My resident sky-watcher and I both think your galaxies are grand, Hilary! The dots are delightful, and I'm saving your succulent photo for reference when coloring one again!
We're all a little bit befuddled these days, my friend - just take good care, and stay safe! xx

Well, I'd say you learned a lot from your class Hilary! these are beautiful! love the colors in your wonderful night skies! and your succulent is so sweet! xx
wow that night sky is amazing, love the mix of colours and you are a star for making so many cards. I love the way you placed the dies so they overlap the panels-I always love this look. As for enamel dots-this can often take me ages but I love them...I try to follow the rule of 3 in a triangle shape but do this and just move them around until my eye is happy with the look-and sometimes 3 is not the right amount-I have found playing with them like this is the best way x
The You Tube video was certainly worth watching, this is such a great masculine card. Your other cards are equally gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing at Cardz4Guyz. :)
Glorious night sky's and cards and you certainly learnt lots on the course. Yes your succulent made me smile....Thank you Hilary x.
Three gorgeous cards, Hilary, with your BEAUTIFUL galaxy background. Great use of watercolors, my friend. And I LOVE SUCCULENTS! Why? Because they are beautiful (especially when they do not have thorns) and they need no water! Ha ha! Hugs!
Gorgeous cards and your watercoloured night sky is stunning xx
Awesome cards...those backgrounds are beautiful!
